B Miles Women's Foundation

The B Miles Women’s Foundation — a specialist homelessness service supporting women experiencing mental ill health. 

 

The challenge: B Miles is a not-for-profit that receives the majority of its funding through the NSW Government’s Specialist Homelessness Services Program and other grants. They are highly impacted by any fluctuations to the government funding environment. 

 

The Foundation makes an incredible impact in the community but was little known to those in NSW and therefore at greater risk of being unfunded.

 

They're work changes lives. But, their brand, website and social media channels weren’t telling their incredible story.

The brief: Create a contemporary, uplifting and welcoming brand identity and an easy to navigate and understand website to further the organisation’s impact.

Create Foundation brand awareness as a critical community service and start to build a network of engaged supporters who can advocate for the service, raise awareness amongst their networks, and provide financial support.

Our work

 

Working closely with the Foundation’s CEO and team, we created a brand and website that captures the welcoming and uplifting spirit of their team and reflects the inspiring women they support.

Their website has many jobs to do  including speaking and giving hope to women in need, providing information to healthcare workers and inspiring donors — but their old site wasn’t doing any of them very well.

We carefully designed content for clarity and to help connect with women who are trying to navigate an incredibly stressful experience and complex support system.

Knowing that having a smaller number of followers who actively share your content is more powerful than having a large number of followers, we focused on sustainably growing the Foundation’s social community while maintaining a high level of engagement across their channels.

With a robust content strategy and plan, we’ve taken their reach from double digits to tens of thousands.
