Georgia Nielsen

Georgia is a communications leader with a strong track record of setting strategic direction and delivering results in large complex organisations. She’s energised by obstacles and her ability to transform them into opportunities.

With more than a decade of professional experience across communication, marketing, campaign management, philanthropy and events, she knows what it takes to set up communication teams for success and deliver on purposeful strategies.

She’s an expert storyteller who’s skilled at content strategy and telling compelling corporate narratives.

With extensive experience working directly with and writing for senior executives, Georgia is skilled at providing constructive advice and setting communication strategies that respond to internal briefs.

Before moving into consulting, Georgia managed a team of 15 communicators in the Higher Education sector working across corporate and executive communication, customer communication, tone of voice, social media, staff communication, content creation, and change projects. Georgia has worked in-house for the University Technology Sydney, The Australian National University, Sydney Symphony and Microsoft.

Driven by continuous improvement, Georgia has a passion for inspiring others to aim for best-practice through capability uplift and harnessing their individual strengths. She’s shared this passion with hundreds of people through workshops on customer-centric communication and writing with clarity.

As a Gallup® Certified Strengths Coach, she loves to help people discover what makes them exceptional and enable teams to thrive. She uses some of her top CliftonStrengths (competition, relator, communication, empathy, woo, command) to deliver engaging, meaningful and valuable workshops.

Caterina is a Communications Strategist with over 15 years experience across politics, tech, not-for-profits, public service, and higher education.
 
She was born to solve complex dilemmas and deliver results, utilising her expertise in corporate communications, digital marketing, and strategy.
 
Caterina is a Certified Digital Marketing Professional with degrees in Law and Commerce. She finds fulfilment in building teams, forging connections, and crafting strategies that amplify the voices of individuals and organisations.
 
She has collaborated with world leaders and influential CEOs, offering advice and counsel, overseeing high-stakes and high-profile projects, and nurturing strategic partnerships and stakeholder relations.
 
Caterina excels in creating impactful communications strategies, compelling narratives, and engaging content that resonates with diverse audiences.
 

Before joining Inkfield, Caterina held senior leadership roles in the Higher Education sector, including:

  • Associate Director - Corporate Communications and Engagement at the Australian National University,

  • Chief Operations Officer at the Global Institute for Women's Leadership, and

  • Executive Officer to the Vice-Chancellor of the Australian National University.

She is a dedicated coach and mentor, thriving on empowering individuals and groups to shatter old paradigms and realise their full potential.
 
Having experienced disadvantage and inequality herself, Caterina is an unyielding advocate for diversity, equity, and inclusion. She is passionate about values-driven leadership and supporting initiatives to address societal inequalities.

Anita Dawson

Anita is Inkfield’s resident problem-solver. A big thinker by nature, when others see an issue, she sees multiple opportunities.

She’s passionate about delivering personalised, creative and genuine solutions to her audience's problems by employing design techniques.

With most of Anita's experience in delivering communication and content strategy for large-scale cultural change programs and events across Australia’s Higher Education sector, she’s highly skilled at diagnosing problems and setting impactful strategies to address them.

From digital to experiential storytelling, Anita is an expert at crafting content that connects with her audience. She also has extensive experience coaching and ghost-writing for senior leaders on highly influential topics.

With a wealth of experience across corporate journalism, content strategy, digital marketing, communication project strategy and management, publications, experiential marketing, customer experience and community building she is skilled at working across traditional functions inside large organisations and facilitating collaboration.

Sarah is a trusted and passionate communications leader with a proven track record of setting and delivering communication programs to a wide range of audiences. 

With a decade of professional experience across communication, publications, public relations and events, she is committed to providing the very best service and delivering the greatest impact for her clients. 

Sarah is a future-focused thinker with extensive experience providing strategic advice and ghost-writing for senior executives, including a highly influential and respected Australian vice-chancellor. With a creative eye and keen attention to detail, Sarah looks to push the envelope and create thoughtful and engaging content across channels. 

Before moving into consulting, Sarah managed a large high-performing team of communication professionals in the Higher Education sector working across corporate, executive, staff and customer communication, tone of voice, social media, content creation, strategy and change projects.

Jenn Cowman

Senior Communication Consultant

Jenn Cowman

Jenn is a communication and marketing professional whose diverse background and broad skillset provides her with a unique perspective to tackle any project.

Specialising in grant writing, media relations, and fundraising campaign planning and execution, Jenn understands the value of relationships and meeting stakeholder expectations. Jenn is also a published scientific author.

Jenn has a passion for understanding cultural safety and inclusivity and has worked with organisational leaders and members of Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander communities to develop Reconciliation Action Plans and execute internal strategies underpinned by cultural awareness.

A marine biologist turned professional communicator, Jenn is skilled at connecting with academics and helping them translate their research into compelling stories.

In addition to her work with Inkfield, Jenn leads communications and marketing for North Australia's chapter of one of the world's most recognised children's charities.

Caitlin Simm

Caity is a creative marketer with extensive experience in health and wellness and a Master of Media Practice from the University of Sydney.

A physiotherapist turned professional communicator, Caity combines genuine relationship-building with her creative, strategic brain to tell unique stories.

Caity works as the Marketing Coordinator at Vively, an innovative health platform helping women with PCOS. She also works as a Pilates Instructor.
